LONE STAR BURN SERIES by Ruth Cardello

☆☆☆☆☆5 STAR - AMAZING, couldn't put it down, highly recommend (emotions bursting at the seams)

Hot 〰 Amazing 〰 Sassy 〰 Addictive 〰 Romance

Taken, Not spurred is about Sarah. She takes a cross country road
trip to visit a college friend, Lucy. Texas is huge and she relies on GPS to direct her to her friend's ranch. Little does she know that she will end up in the wrong town, but right home! She abruptly meets Tony. Tony is someone that is private, reserve and doesn't care much about opening up to others. Sarah changes all of that. Friends and family get involved, but destiny pans out in this steamy story.

Released March 10, 2015
272 pages

Tycoon Takedown is Melanie's story. She is Tony's housekeeper and you begin her story in the first book. She isn't as tough as she portrays herself to be. She travels to NYC to get answers for her young son, Jace. In the meantime, she connects with Sarah's rich and powerful brother, Charles. Charles quickly becomes infatuated by Melanie and can't stay away. Their story is a classic Cinderella story yet every bit of cowgirl.

Released April 5, 2016
234 pages

Taken Home is the third book in the Lone Star Burn series. This is Chelle's story. She is a small town country girl. Beautiful, shy and doesn't want to wait any longer for love. She is tired of being in her twenties, and a virgin. She throws herself at Mason at a wedding. Mason is friend's with Tony and she finds that this opportunity should be hers - why not!?
Chelle is not his type and far too innocent, but why can't he just get her out of his head. Mason is a movie star turn California Senator. He is known for his amazing looks and his never ending list of women. He isn't going to settle down and he surely won't look at his past. Until Chelle. Chelle stole something within him that he can't ignore. This story is full of passion, facing pasts and friendships. Chelle's friends started this with their need to help her discover herself. A game that allows Chelle to travel, but no one thought she would travel to Mason. This was a cool story to read and is more than a heart-throb turn head over heels.

Taking Charge is the fourth book in the Lone Star Burn series. Throughout the first three books, you will read the build up and relationships between these friends. They are more than friends, they are family. Taking Charge is Lucy's story. She is the friend of Sarah's from the first book. After her family ranch is in desperate need of saving, David - Tony's ranch hand/manager travels to her ranch to help her. He falls head over boots for Lucy, yet she is engaged to someone else. He becomes the hero to save the day - to save Lucy. This book is so full of love, fear, lies, truth, friendships and family. It was a perfect story to end the friendships within this series.

This series is full of lust, discovery, heartbreak, unexpected turns and nearly any emotion you could pull from a book. The author has the ability to keep you reeled into wanting more, heck - needing more! Lone Star Burn series by Ruth Cardello has blown other romance series out of the water. I bought these ebooks via Amazon on my own accord, but I genuinely intend to also purchase physical copies because this series has landed as a top fave of all time. Check it out for yourself - these hidden gems are a unique romance series that you won't want to put down!

About the author:
Ruth Cardello was born the youngest of 11 children in a small city in northern Rhode Island. She spent her young adult years moving as far away as she could from her large extended family. She lived in Boston, Paris, Orlando, New York–then came full circle and moved back to Rhode Island. She now happily lives one town over from the one she was born in. For her, family trumped the warmer weather and international scene.
She was an educator for 20 years, the last 11 as a kindergarten teacher. When her school district began cutting jobs, Ruth turned a serious eye toward her second love, writing, and has never been happier. When she’s not writing, you can find her chasing her children around her small farm, riding her horses, or connecting with her readers online.
