☆☆☆☆☆5 STAR - AMAZING, couldn't put it down, highly recommend (emotions bursting at the seams)
Happy book release day for All The Breaking Waves written by Kerry Lonsdale.
"After a harrowing accident tore her family apart, Molly Brennan fled from the man she loved and the tragic mistake she made. Twelve years later, Molly has created a new life for herself and her eight-year-old daughter, Cassie. The art history professor crafts jewelry as unique and weathered as the surf-tumbled sea glass she collects, while raising her daughter in a safe and loving environment—something Molly never had. But when Cassie is plagued by horrific visions and debilitating nightmares, Molly is forced to return to the one place she swore she’d never move back to—home to Pacific Grove."
I loved All The Breaking Waves by Kerry Lonsdale. All The Breaking Waves was full of many emotions - raw and moving. I felt a gravitational pull to Molly and her journey through life. I am a mother of two 8 year olds and I felt a sense of comradery to Molly's character. I wanted to crawl into the pages and hug her!
All The Breaking Waves was also full of suspense, romance, motherhood with a light paranormal feel. It was a beautiful blend that flowed effortlessly from one page to the next. This author does an impeccable job with keeping her readers captive as she has a true gift of writing. Kerry Lonsdale opens your heart to feel multiple feelings at once which ultimately left me in a hypnotic state as I dove through chapter after chapter.
This book touched not one, but many genre's - just as this author's debut novel Everything We Keep. I have a feeling that as we grow to read more from Kerry Lonsdale, we will discover that she writes like no other and has an approach that can't be narrowed down like most. I very much look forward to reading more of this author's work.
I highly recommend All The Breaking Waves just as I did with her previous novel last summer.
